John
H. Andrews joined the firm that is now Consigny, Andrews, Hemming &
Grant, S.C. in 1966. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with
a Bachelor of Science degree in 1961. After two years of service in the
U.S. Army as an Infantry Lieutenant, he entered the University of
Wisconsin-Madison Law School, graduating with honors in 1966.
He serves his clients in a broad range of legal areas and is
comfortable talking with clients in all settings, from farm kitchens to
corporate boardrooms. He frequently represents clients in the trial
courts of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Court of Appeals, Wisconsin Supreme
Court, and the U.S. District and Circuit Court of Appeals.
A member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Mr. Andrews has served as
President of the Rock County Bar Association, and as a Director of the
Visiting Nurses Association of Janesville.
John H. Andrews is a member of the Janesville Noon Rotary Club. He is
also a member of Cargill United Methodist Church where he has served on
the Board of Trustees, the Scholarship Committee, and as a member of
the Cargill Brass Choir with baritone horn.
A native of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, he learned his fishing and boating
skills on Lake LaBelle. He is the father of three daughters: Laura,
Margaret, and Sarah. His wife, Faye, is a home economics and early
childhood teacher. He enjoys skiing, backpacking, canoeing, road and
mountain bicycling, reading, traveling, music, theater, photography,
history and art.
