Mark
Schroeder received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College in
1980, and his law degree from Marquette University in 1983. He has been
an attorney with Consigny, Andrews, Hemming & Grant since 1987.
A member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Rock County Bar
Association, and a member of the Board of Directors of the
Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers, Mr. Schroeder is also a past
member of the State Bar of Wisconsin Law-Related Education Committee.
Mr. Schroeder believes that being an attorney means being a counselor
and an advocate for his clients. An attorney must determine the nature
and extent of the client's problems, review with the client the courses
of action that can be taken, and design a response best suited to the
client's needs. As an advocate, an attorney must make full use of his
or her abilities to pursue the course of action that will obtain the
best possible result for the client.
An active participant in his community and church, Mr. Schroeder is a
member of the Janesville Lions Club, a member of the Board of Directors
of Janesville Youth Football, a past member of the Board of Directors
of Rock County Habitat for Humanity, and a past member of the
Janesville Jaycees. He is also a past chairperson of the Administrative
Council of Cargill United Methodist Church, past chairperson of Cargill
United Methodist Foundation, and a former leader in Cub Scout Pack 424,
Janesville.
He enjoys hunting, fishing, and music. When time permits, he also enjoys a good book.
